Bikram Yoga Class
Bikram yoga is a challenging series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises, suitable for all ages and all levels of ability. Each posture stretches, strengthens, and prepares specific muscles, ligaments, and joints needed for the next posture. Bikram yoga also stimulates organs, glands, and nerves, moving fresh oxygenated blood to 100% of the body, restoring all systems to a healthy working order. Bikam Choudhury scientifically designed this 90 minute program to deliver total health through the balancing and strengthening of every system in the body. To prevent illness and injury, promote weight loss and limit the effects of aging. This series of postures also improves concentration, patience, determination, and self-control to increase mental clarity and reduce stress. Bikram yoga is done in a heated room to warm your muscles, prevent injury, allow a deeper workout and cleanse the body by flushing toxins.

This very special class to mark the Winter Solstice (the shortest day of the year) will be a silent class illuminated by holiday lights. Please note you need to have attended at least 10 classes before in order to take part in the class. If you are unable to attend the class please join us for food and drink afterwards at the studio from 8pm.
